Annaliese is an inspiring Permaculture educator and regenerative landscape designer residing in the Northern Rivers, NSW Australia. As an educator, she is committed to evolving her inclusive and interactive teaching style, fostered by some of the great Permaculture pioneers Rosemary Morrow, Robyn Francis, Robyn Clayfield, Robina McCurdy and Geoff Lawton.

Annaliese has a degree in Environmental Resource Management, specialising in waste management and the human impact on wild spaces and sits on the Board of Directors of Permaculture Australia.

Annaliese has lived amongst numerous Eco communities globally, many off the grid, contributing to edible and medicinal gardens, food forests, wildlife corridors and riparian zones, building structures, waste management systems and designing for resilience. She is also a fibre weaver and workshop facilitator of many raw and natural art forms.

Profoundly inspired by the plant kingdom, Annaliese has worked extensively with the Happy Herb Company in an educational and training capacity, researching and appreciating the traditional cultural uses and contemporary benefits of ethnobotanicals. She is passionate about fostering the re~Connection between people and plants, channeling this energy into her position of Garden Curator at Lupunaluz ethnobotanical gardens, Iquitos Peru.

Currently Annaliese is tutoring at Djanbung Permaculture College Australia, teaching PDC’s with Robyn Francis and facilitating workshops for communities in Eco~sustainability and local food security, inspired by her participation in a Localising food Tour of NZ.

Annaliese is honored to be in regenerative alliance with Gaiacraft facilitating global Permaculture outreach, creating interactive teaching resources and being in co~creation with the next generation of Permaculture educators and planet repair visionaries.
